About the Artist

Chiei Ishida, a Japanese artist based in Singapore, is renowned for her realistic acrylic paintings of Southeast Asian flora. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant colors of sunlight on nature, she creates works that invite viewers to experience the serenity and beauty of tropical landscapes.

With an MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute and an MA from the Australian National University, her work is rooted in a strong foundation of artistic technique and a deep appreciation of art history.

She has exhibited her work in Tokyo, California, and Singapore.
