Handling:

Always handle prints with clean, dry hands or wear cotton gloves to avoid transferring oils or dirt.

Hold the print by its edges to avoid touching the surface.

Framing:

Use UV-protective glass or acrylic to shield the print from harmful UV rays.

Ensure the frame is sealed properly to prevent dust and moisture from entering.

Use acid-free mats and backing to prevent discoloration over time.

Display:

Do not use adhesive-backed hooks or strips, as they may fail and cause the frame to fall, potentially damaging it.

Hang prints and canvases away from direct sunlight to prevent fading.

Avoid placing prints and canvases in areas with high humidity, such as bathrooms or kitchens, to prevent warping or mold growth.

Keep prints away from heat sources like radiators or fireplaces.

Cleaning:

Dust the surface of framed prints regularly with a soft, dry cloth.

If the glass or acrylic gets smudged, clean it gently with a soft cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner. Do not spray the cleaner directly on the glass—spray it on the cloth first.

Storage:

Store unframed prints flat, in a cool, dry place, between acid-free paper or in a protective portfolio.

Avoid rolling prints for storage, but if necessary, use a wide-diameter tube and acid-free tissue paper to prevent creasing.
